Abstract
In sorghum cv. CSH-6, CV-3541 and M-35-1 grown in full sunlight or in 30 or 50% of full sunlight, chlorophyll content based on dry wt. increased but based on unit leaf area decreased and photosystem I and II activities decreased with increase in shading. Cv. CSH-6 had the highest chlorophyll contents and photosystem activities under all 3 light regimes.
