Abstract
Ragi is the staple food in the diets of the poor classes of people in Mysore state and Deccan plateau. It is unique among the cereal grain in being a very rich source of calcium. Subramnyan et al. reported the results of human metabolism study on adult human beings on ragi diet . No metabolism report have so far been reported with ragi diets...............
