Abstract
Eight high yielding sorghum entiries were tested for their reaction to the armyworm (Mylhimna srporata Walker) during 1975-76 and 1976-77. SB 412 (30.32 per cent) recorded least per cent leaf damage. Varieties SB 803. SB 461 and CS 3541 were also promising. These four varieties with their ability to withstand the pest onslaught would help in the integrated pest control approach
