Abstract
For the 1977-78 and 1978-79 rabi crop season at Solapur, Lysimetric data on soil moisture recharge and evaporative depletion in Wet and dry spells in the pre-sowing season and the March of Evapotranspiration of M.35-1 rabi jowar crop in relation to weather and crop factors are presented. Striking differences in crop water consumption in the drier year of 1978-79 are bought out....................
