Abstract
Nutrient uptake like rice sorghum, wheat and maize was studied by Sen(1916), Acharya(1931), Trumble (1926). Weinmann(1956) and other workers to determine the nutritional status of the crop and to fix up manual schedules. It has been observed that in general, a large proportion of nitrogen and phosphorus accumulates in the grain and the straw contains a greater function..........................................
