Abstract

Contarinia sorghicola attack decreased grain yields of sorghum by 210-408 kg/ha. All the insecticides tested were effective against C. sorghicola incidence and reduced the yield losses caused by it; dust and sprays of carbophenothion and endosulfan, spray of chloropyrifos and BHC dust were the most effective
