Abstract

The effect of various insecticide treatments on the sorghum pest Contarinia sorghicola (Coq.) and its parasite Tetrastichus sp. was determined in field-plot tests in India in 1975. Adult emergence of both host and parasite showed that sprays of 0.04% phosalone or 0.04% endosulfan effectively controlled the pest without seriously affecting the parasite
