Abstract

19 strains of foxtail millet bred at different research stations in India were tested at Gurdaspur during kharif [summer monsoon season] 1972. Grain yields varied from 6.78 to 15.80 g/plant, and were positively correlated with tiller number and ear girth, and negatively with days to heading and maturity, plant height and ear length
