Abstract

Treatment of sorghum seed with 5% carbofuran a.i. was effective against shoot-fly (Atherigona soccata) incidence and markedly increased the grain yields. The net profit was highest when the treated and untreated seeds were sown in 4:1 ratio at 10 kg/ha
