Abstract

A pot experiment was conducted to study the effect of time and dose of nitrogen application on striga emergence in sorghun (CSB-1) in Dhamad in 1974. The results indicate that a striga populaticn reached a maximum at 65 days with no nitrogen treatment. There was significant reduction in striga emrgence with the application of 187 kg nitrogen per hectare...
