Abstract

Excellent control of covered kernel smut (Sphacelotheca sorghi (Lk.) Clint.) in Sharon kafir was obtained in field experiments at 7 stations in 1942 by the use of several dust fungicides at the generally recommended dosages, and at 1/2 and 1/4 of these dosages.
