Abstract

Results of a two year survey of forage sorghum crops in New South Wales are presented. About nine out of ten of the samples analysed contained less sodium than recommended for animal production and from a third to a quarter contained insufficient sulfur. Salt licks containing 5% sulfur are cheap and their routine use with animals grazing forage sorghum is recommended
