Abstract

Greenbug experiments conducted in the laboratory demonstrated that biotype E began reproduction at more immature stages under high temperatures than biotype C. Under these same conditions the life span of biotype E was shortened. Morphologically the biotype s were the same. The wheat variety Amigo was resistant to greenbug biotype C but not to E. Seven oat selections from the USDA World Collection were resistant to biotype E.
