Female sterility has been reported for a number Of crops. Casady etal.found that it was conditioned By the complementary effect of two dominant genes In sorghum. Single recessive genes control female Sterility in upland cotton6 and the tomato'. Although The condition is of genetic interest. We are not aware Of any previous reports that suggest or demonstrate Utilization of genetic female sterile mutants.............
