Abstract

At the time of crop harvest, the plant residues, addedd d 90 g Cm2 to rhe soil. The residues were chsracterised by low N and TNC: and high percentage of lignin cellulose, ash, and carhon. The cumuative C02 evolution from amended and control soils indicated low rates of decomposition
