Abstract

The presence of an antiviral principle (AVP) in the leaves of sorghum (Sorghum vulgare Pers)capable ofeffectively inhibiting the tomato spotted witt virus (TSWV) was reported by Narayanasamy and Ramiah (1983). Further studies were taken up to characterise this AVP the results are reported in this communication
