Abstract
Nine quality and yield characters were studied in the Pennisetum typhoides hybrids IP1025 X IP1945, IP2093 X IP1025 and IP1945 X IP2093, and estimates are presented for the contributions made by six genetic parameters. The expression of heterosis and of inbreeding depression is also recorded. The results indicate scope for improving quality and yield by recurrent selection.
