Abstract
Bajara (pennisetum typhoides (brm.) stapf. andHubb.) is an important fodder crop; its highly nutritious green fodder is relished by cattle being more palatable than its dry fodder. With considerable interest being shown in the improvement of this crop fodder purposes, it would while to have an idea of the component traits influencing the green fodder yield. The component relationship may, however, differ in the different germ plasm groups. Therefore in the present study Indian and exotic germplasm of bajra has been studied for analysis of green fodder yield and its components.
