Abstract
Three recessive genes with complementary action were found to control male sterility in lines GS68A, GS68B and GS69 segregating for male sterility. Monogenic and digenic segregation ratios were observed depending on the presence of one or two homozygous recessive genes in the selected plants, but the presence of a single dominant gene resulted in high male fertility.
