Abstract

Hens were given diets with 60% sorghum, tannin content 0.5, 0.7 or 1.3% of DM. The digestibility of crude protein (CP) only decreased significantly as tannin content increased. The metabolizable energy contents of the 3 sorghum varieties, corrected for N-retention, were all 15.3 MJ/kg DM
