Abstract

Plant parasitic nematodes are hidden enemies of agricultural crops, limiting the total agricultural production. They can be effectively controlled by using chemical pesticides but environmental pollution and health hazards reduce its application. Because of limited options, root-knot disease can be managed by a combination of eco-friendly, ever-lasting, non-chemical methods in an integrated manner to reduce the effect of plant parasitic nematodes. Effective disease management can be achieved only if the integrated nematode management measures are adopted at the right time.
