Abstract
Data presented for 60 F1s from crosses involving 15 male-sterile lines and four pollinators show significant heterosis for forage yield. Some F1s show heterotic effects for protein or sugar content. The male-sterile lines IS10368A and IS10656A were good combiners for forage yield with JS963.
