Abstract
In trials with 6 groundnut cultivars grown on an alluvial soil, application of 17.6 kg P/ha increased av. pod yields from 2.55 to 2.98 t/ha; further increase in P rates gave no additional yield. Cv. S1 and TG17 gave highest yields of 3.74 and 3.56 t/ha, resp., compared with 2.24-2.88 t in other cultivars
