Abstract
Genetic diversity for 15 photosynthetic and yield related traits was assessed in 52 true breeding advanced generation lines and 2 control varieties grown during 1990-91, using Mahalanobis' D2 analysis. The study revealed a very high level of diversity. The genotypes were grouped into 9 clusters using Tocher's method
