Abstract

Sorghum [Sorghum bicolor (Linn.) Meonch] is one of the most important cereal crops of the world. It ranks fourth among the world cereals in the order of wheat, maize and rice. It is the major source of food and fodder for millions of people in tropics and semi-arid tropics.
