Abstract
This paper presents the results of studies conducted to assess the accuracy and capability of a statistical model for forecasting chickpea productivity in the Rajkot District in Gujarat, India. The effects of various climatic factors (rain, maximum and minimum temperature, relative humidity and sunshine hours) on chickpea yields during the study are also discussed
