Abstract
Information on combining ability is derived from data on yield and 4 component traits in a diallel cross involving 7 diverse Cajanus cajan cultivars grown during 1985 as sole crop, and intercropped with sorghum and pearl millet [Pennisetum glaucum]. Hybrids ICP6997 × PBNA54 and ICP6997 × BDN2 showed significant SCA effects for grain yield and high performance under all 3 cropping systems
