Abstract

A Working Group on Forages for Mediterranean and adjecent semi-arid/arid type areas was convened in Cyprus as part of a forage plan of action, which was approved by the International Board for Plant Genetic Research (IBPGR) in Febuary 1983. A list of participant is shown in Appendix I. A representative of the Arab Centre for the Study of Arid Zones and Dry Lands(Syria) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO Grasslands Group) were expected to attend but unfortunately could not
