Abstract

A stepwise procedure for the maintenance and production of nucleus and breeder seeds from sorghum hybrids and pure lines is presented. Notes are presented on purity tests for hybrids, and parental and pure lines of sorghum, as well as packaging and labelling of breeder seeds of the crop.
