Abstract
A high performance liquid chromatographic method used for the determination of cyanogenic glucosides in flax seed has been modified to make it suitable for the analysis of these compounds in dried white clover (Trifolium repens L.) samples. Moreover, the extraction of glycosides from clover samples and purification of exracts on the C18 support prior to analysis has been developed. Linamarin and lotaustralin were identified in T. repens cv. Armena in concentrations of 1.29 and 3.13 mg/g of dry matter, respectively
