Abstract
Information on genetic variance and heritability is derived from data on 4 yield components in 100 families each of S1 hybrids, full-sibs and half-sibs developed from the Pennisetum americanum [P. glaucum] population WC-C75, grown during 1986. Expected genetic advance for S1 family selection was particularly high for grain yield/plant (27.5%)
