Abstract

Genotype x culture media interactive effects on in-vitro green plantlet regeneratin efficiency were examined using mature embryo derived scutellar calli involving 22 indica rice cultivars and five media combinations. Callus induction and plantlet regeneration were found to be greatly influenced by the genotype and 2,4-D concentration in media.
