Abstract

Over the past few years row planting farmer contests have been used as a strategy for promoting quality row planting. These contests have the advantage of providing a form of entertainment while conveying a message. This paper describes one of the row planting contests held in the Central Agricultural Region, and provides general guidelines for future contests.
