Abstract

Detailed soil survey of the Soil Conservation Research Station, Anantapur comprising 277 acreshas been carried out. Soils are classified into two series namely, Vayalpad and Mancheru. The soil units mapped under the respective series have been interpreted to the land capability classes and sub-classes. Management recommendations for various classes of land have been specified in the report.A soil and land capability map has been appended to the report.
