Abstract

Direct deposit and credit links are those that exist between informal financial sector (IFS) institutions and the formal/semi-formal financial sector (FFS) institutions. In this study, theselink relationships are examined with regard to all the IFIs and FFIs. The study focuses on money lenders and savings and credit associations in the informal financial sector, and on commercial banks in the formal financial sector
