Abstract
Information on combining ability is derived from data on 10 quantitative characters in the parents and F1 hybrids of 8 sorghum varieties grown during rabi 1982-83 under 3 environments at Parbhani, India. The best combining varieties were Spv-422 and Spv-438 for early flowering and tallness, and Spv-438, Spv-86 and Spv-41 for 5 other yield attributes.
