Abstract

In trials in 1978-9, 2 chickpea cv. were sown in May, June, July and Aug. Except for the May 1978 sowing, cv. CPI-56296B significantly outyielded cv. CPI-56566 in both yr. Both cv. sown in May gave the highest seed yields, except for the June sowing of CPI-56296B in 1978.
