Abstract

A study was conducted during the summer of 1975 to determine the effects of tour soil water regimes and two gypsum levels on yield and quality of peanuts (Alzrchis hypogaea L.).The Florunner ‘cultivar was grown on Lake find sand. Water regimes included (1) irrigated with 2.5 cm water whenever water tension at the 30 cm soil depth reached 150-200 mb,(2) drought imposed for 21 days during early to mid-pegging, (3) no-tilled control receiving natural pre-cipation, and (4) tilled control receiving natural pre-cipation. Gypsum levels were zero and 1, 000 kg/ha. All treatments were harvested at 138 days......
