Abstract
The relations between different aspects of the physical environment and shelled nut yield of several groundnut cv. were examined using regression techniques. Generally the crop was more sensitive to environment prior to seed filling than during this phase. The early vegetative and late pod-setting stages appeared to be the most sensitive phases in this generally sensitive period. Some cv. were superior when conditions were cool and cloudy, while others were superior under warmer or sunny conditions
