Abstract
This dissertation is the result of work done during the period from October 1988 to September 1989. An introduction to this work. its aim and the relevant literature are presented. The experimental results, wherever considered necessary, are presented in the form of either tables and/or photographs. The investigative observations made during the present work are discussed in the light of the earlier work carried out both in this plant system as well as that in the other systems. Finally, a summary of the work is presented at the end,
