Abstract
Nine agronomic traits were studied in a six-parent diallel, without reciprocals, of Arachis hypogaea. Differences among progeny, together with general and specific combining ability mean squares, were significant for all traits. Additive effects strongly influenced all traits except leaflet width and seed weight. The biparental progeny approach is suggested for improvement of pod yield and it components
