Abstract
The mode of Inheritance of six different morphological characters in a cross between groundnut varieties Poona White and Kopergaon No. 3 was studied. The observation of F1, population indicated that tbe Semi spreading growth habit was dominant over bunch habit hairiness of the stem over sparsely hairy; purple Item over green stem; red seed coat colour over white and prominent reticulation of pods over less prominent. The F2 and F3 population indicated monogenic inheritance (3 : 1).
