Abstract
The F1 hybrid from crossing the variety EC2213, which has a rose testa, with EC21150, which has a white testa, had a red testa. In the F2 a segregation ratio of 9 red : 3 rose : 4 white was obtained. This ratio is explained by assigning the genotype rrd1d1D2D2 to the female parent EC2213 and RRd1d1d2d2 to the male parent EC21150.
