Abstract

Electrophoretic analysis of seed protein composition showed that A. hypogaea (cv. Early Bunch) differed from A. batizogaea, A. villosulicarpa, A. stenosperma and A. monticola. Variation in amino acid and enzyme content was also found among species. The nonnodulating line T2376 is classified as A. hypogaea, but differed from Early Bunch in protein content and in protein, amino acid and enzyme composition
