Abstract
In order to determination of different levels of nitrogen and Potassium on the quantitative and qualitative chickpea, an investigation with three levels of nitrogen (0,60,120kg) and potassium (0,45,90 kg per ha)in four replication using factorial design in randomized design block with 36 experimental plots was done. The experiment was conducted during 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 years at Agricultural Technical Institute of Bakrajo, Sulaimani, Iraq. The results showed that highly significant difference existing among all traits measured and thus indicating that there is variability in nitrogen and potassium level studied. The results of correlation coefficient in 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 years showed was positive and significant correlations grain yield with majority traits. Researches have shown that the efficiency of fertilizer based on soil tests and the according plant demand led to increasing in grain yield and its characteristics
