Abstract
Field experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of tillage methods and plant densities on yield of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L. monech) in 2012. The treatments consisted of three tillage methods (no-tillage system, minimum tillage system and conventional tillage system) and three plant densities (60×20, 50×24 and 40×30 cm). Split plot design with three replications was used. The results showed that the tillage methods and plant densities had a significant effect on yields attributes measured. The highest forage yield, total dry weight, leaf dry weight, stem dry weight, seed dry weight, cab dry weight, cab-stem dry weight and husk dry weight were obtained in no-tillage system and plant density of 40×30 cm as compared with others methods of using
