Abstract

Among biorationals, NSKE and commercial neem recorded cent per cent mortality of Spodoptera litura (Fab.) on 10 th day of treatment while, sweet flag, GCKE 5% (Garlic Chilli Kerosene Extract) and Metarrhizium anisopliae were least effective. Efficacy against leaf miner revealed that the commercial neem and M. anisopliae were best, causing 70 and 60 per cent mortality on 15th day after exposure to the treatments, while GCKE and Nomorea rileyi were least effective. However, Profenophos 50 EC, a chemical standard check, caused cent per cent larval mortality of S. litura and leaf miner at 3rd and 7th day of treatment respectively.
