Abstract
Shulamit, Schwarz-21, Virginia S.M. and Namtoiquare groundnuts were examined for kernel mycoflora [49, 1856] at harvest, following inoculation of unsterilized soil with A. flavus. The incidence of seed-toorne A. flavus was very low, tout its presence in the soil retarded pod penetration toy other fungi. A Wghly significant negative correlation was found between A. niger and Fusarium solani. Nambiquare yielded the lowest total of isolates. A. niger was relatively frequent on Shulamit
