An isolate of the groundnut collar rot pathogen tolerated Blitox 50 (copper oxychloride) and Dithane M-45 [mancozeb] at 6000 p.p.m. and Emisan 6 (2-methoxyethylmercury chloride) at 450 p.p.m. when grown on PDA containing increasing concn of the fungicides. All 3 are used as seed treatments for groundnut
