Abstract
Hundreds of varieties of groundnut are known and many are extensively cultivated in Indin. Groundnut is the high protein content but its quality is limited for lack of certain essential amino acids especially methionine which is invariably reported to be the "most limiting amino acid.Tho using the equation: significance of groundnut protein in the nutrition of man and animals especially in the developing countries cannot be over-emphasized. Extensive work has been carried out to improve protein quality in groundnut by supplementation, selective breeding and other methods
